HOW DO I MAKE MY COMMITMENT TO GIVE?
We encourage you to pray and seek God’s guidance for you personally. You will have an opportunity to return your Commitment Card and give towards “A Time to Build” at our 25th Anniversary Sunday services on Sunday 27th August, or at any other time.
There are a number of ways to give:
Make a sacrificial gift on Sunday 27th August
Make a commitment to give a set amount weekly, monthly, or other specified timeframe over the next year
Make a special gift throughout the year
Provide an interest free loan through BAPLink (Queensland Baptists’ Finance Arm)
HOW DO I MAKE AN INTEREST-FREE LOAN?
An interest-free loan can be made through BAPLink. You as a giver can open a “Kingdom Offset Account” just as you would in a bank. This deposit remains accessible to you, but the interest that would normally accrue on such money, rather than being paid to you, would be used to reduce the amount of interest expense Bridgeman will be paying on its borrowings from BAPLInk.
For more information collect a Kingdom Offset Account Pack at the Information Table.
HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH TO GIVE?
We recognize any financial commitment you make will be a personal decision that reflects the call God places on your heart. We encourage you to give with faith while maintaining wise stewardship.
WHAT IF MY CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE?
If your circumstances change for any reason, you can alter your commitment to the fund: “A Time to Build.”
IS MY GIFT TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
At this stage, legislation does not allow this project to benefit from tax deductibility.
WHAT ABOUT MY REGULAR TITHES AND/OR OFFERINGS?
It is important for us to continue to meet our regular church budget to ensure the Kingdom work we are involved in can continue. Therefore any commitment to “A Time To Build” should be in addition to your normal tithes and/or offerings.
CAN I GIVE ANONYMOUSLY?
Yes. You don’t need to fill out any name or address details on the Commitment Card, if this is your preference.
However, we would ask that you complete the rest of the card to indicate your intention to give. This will help us in planning to meet our future building expenses.
